A projection mapping installation by Grit Kit & me
This a projection mapping installation by Grit Kit. In it, the artist deals with transience, grief and pain. The feeling of being lost and losing control is contrasted with the concept of infinity, continuity and return, from which hope and new strength can be drawn.
Using Max/MSP, I created a Frequency Modulation based system to generate the deep, subtly modulating bass. With feedback loop techniques, I created evolving sonic textures that synchronized with the flowing light patterns, passing it through stacked delay units with resonators to create rich overtones.
